Welcome to our store! Shug and Papaw's Creations was born in the den of my home in a small town in Louisiana after I began making some seasonal and sports team themed wreaths for friends at work. Crafting has long been a hobby when I began making wreaths, swags, and floral arrangements for my home, which quickly expanded to my family's homes as well.

 My husband has been making wooden furniture for years and has just finished a picnic table for our younger grandchildren. Our four younger, rambunctious grandsons tried out the sturdiness and quality of it immediately. When the small picnic table, held up to those rough boys, we knew that we had a quality project. He has since become very agile with the dremel and made several custom tables inscribed with names, as well as the signs and cutouts for my wreaths. He is currently attending college and looks forward to graduating soon. 

We are empty-nesters of 5 children, but greatly enjoy spending time with our growing family especially our 10 grandchildren .When my children were younger, I helped them make wreaths and various other door decorations for 4-H competitions. Today, my older grandchildren assist with ideas for our small family business and love to help pick out decorations to place on our fun wreaths.

I am a nurse by education and am well aware of the quality produced from pouring your heart and soul into something. We believe in quality products. While big-box craft stores sell cardboard decorations, we use real wooden signs and decorations to ensure that our products last for years to come. All of our products are lovingly hand-made to your custom order.
